I had an initial reaction to hate this video before I saw it because I figured it was an older hipster who set up their kids to sing a Pavement song in the back of their late 80’s Volvo after they picked them up from karate class and in between their own listenings of NPR’s “Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me” and “Fresh Air”.  But I cracked.  I started smiling in the first 10 seconds.  I couldn’t help it.  This is really cute.  Especially the little girl growl-screaming arond 2:45.  I’m sure I’ll get my kids to do this same thing to Wilco.

Also, isn’t it funny how you can hate things you have so much interest in (NPR, indie rock, etc)?  Self loathe much, me?
